Manufacturing cost of iPhone 3G S and the price of iPhone 3G in India

Cool work dude!!!I think Apple should read this review and get ashamed….

I got an iPhone 3G as a gift from my best friend. This phone is the best phone that i ever had, great style and great features. I luv my iPhone 3G.

THe even more interesting part is that only 1% of the product price becomes salaries for the factory workers who make the phones, from the mineral mines to the packaging. 60% is pure profit for Apple.

Here is the great comparison of the manufacturing price of all the branded and famous mobile manufacturers. I am one of the crazy person of the iphone. The cost of iPhone 3G should be some what less.

Its easy to say. If you have all the Costs in hand then you can try your hand at making a phone and try selling it. There will barely be any takers for it. The other costs that you did not mention are 1. Advertisement / Marketing  2. Reasearch & Development (Software ?!?!?!?). To have such a breakthrough technology/software, it takes years to build it and Millions of $$ to invest in this. This cost has to be divided in their products for them to make profits and recover the costs. No doubt they are making good money but thats what they have invested their money for into such a beautiful piece of technology. Also, there are so many other Companies making Phones and Tablets similar to iPhone & iPad, but Apple products just standout in all aspects, their Software, Hardware, Look & feel etc. Its worth it !
